Wow, it's been long since I've last done a random post. Part of me is tired already. Hehe.. shows how much I like to stick to something huh?
I've stopped watching American Idol after Carrie Underwood won (nothing bad, just I got bored of it). I caught the finale of American Idol in my hotel room so here if a clip of the American Idol winner on Ellen:
Do any of you guys out there believe in the saying: "Trai lanh phai hung?" Or in other words: Left is good, right is malicious? Where if the left eye twitches it means that it's a good sign and if the right eye twitches it's a bad omen?
Well, my left eye has been twitching all yesterday and a little bit of today, but I've recently been running into a ton of bad luck so should I still believe it? I'm quite the type of girl that forgets something the moment she doesn't think about it, so I've never gotten the chance to keep track of my "eye twitches".
One of my sisters have another saying: "Nam ta nu huu" where the guy is left and the girl is right as in "good" is left for the guy and right for the girl.
Wow... a post just on eye twitches. Hope you enjoy or skim right through!
All parts of the special edition to the "Five Years Later" of the Boys Over Flowers have finally been released. Ah, how much I wish that they would stop from further milking the boys for all that they're worth. Soon enough, many of the fans will by tired as I am also a fan stretched beyond limit.
Hope you guys enjoy the last of it all (hopefully)!
Is the definition of a family not meant to be a support system, a bond that cannot be broken?
Sure the bond may not be broken because DNA can never be changed, but the support system may merely be imaginary. For one moment, you're so sure that it's there, and the next, it vanishes, with not trace in sight.
Oh what can I say for those that suffer from a wierd family. Everyone has secrets. Secrets that are meant to never be told, and if one leaks, it brings on a series a pain. Maybe that's the greatness of a rose. It lures you in, it is the primary rose given to a female at any event, and yet, if one is not careful, it could easily hurt you. Pain that is never advertised but should be common knowledge.
I wonder how life goes on ever so easily. Sometimes, we seem as though helpless to our own situation. But life still goes on and if we don't go on, the world will continue to advance without us. So move on and live strong.
I've finally made my way through the series Boys Before Flowers--- so yay to me!
I never thought that I would like Kim Hyun Joong as most of his reactions within the drama seems forced. Although, I must say, the song that Joon Ji Hoo sings for Geum Jan Di in episode 15 is now stuck in my head. I wonder why they won't release the acoustic version of this song that he sings?
Finals are coming up but still procrastinating... So here is a bit of what I'm doing while procrastinating.
Seems like a good movie! Oh, where shall I watch thee?
Treeless Mountain:
Synopsis
When their mother needs to leave in order to find their estranged father, seven year-old Jin and her younger sister, Bin, are left to live with their Big Aunt for the summer. With only a small piggy bank and their mother's promise to return when it is full, the two young girls are forced to acclimate to changes in their family life. Counting the days, and the coins, the two bright-eyed young girls eagerly anticipate their mother's homecoming. But when the bank fills up, and with their mother still not back, Big Aunt decides that she can no longer tend to the children. Taken to live on their grandparents' farm, it is here that Jin comes to learn the importance of family bonds in this beautiful, meditative, and thought-provoking second feature from So Yong Kim, the acclaimed director of IN BETWEEN DAYS.
Variety's Robert Koehler said of Kim's film: "drawing out beautifully natural performances from her child actors, Kim once again has a distinct way of letting her camera observe her characters with kind thoughtfulness, allowing for a quiet mood to wash over the scenes." --oscilloscope

I'm happy that there are more films that are coming out with young child actors whom I believe are very capable.
