I finally finished the Korean series "Thank You" starring Jang Hyuk and Gong Hyo Jin. It's such an amazing series revealing the life of a single mother who must take care of both a senile grandfather and a daughter who's suffering from aids. It's a really endearing series and also the first series Jang Hyuk starred in after his release from military duty.
So in honor of this series: This is a part of the ending, so PLEASE don't watch it nor read on if you guys don't want the ending to be spoiled for you!
This is also one of my favorite parts in the series. I have no idea how many times I've watched this part now. The gist of this part is basically YS (Gong Hyo Jin) wants to take her child and leave to another part of Korea. GS begs her not to leave and asks her if he could be a reason for them to stay.
My favorite part in this clip was when GS catches up to YS and yells at her: Am I crazy? For a woman that doesn't even treat me as well as her dog, I've done work that I'd never before imagined that I would do. My heart shatters when I see the woman's tears and with just a smile from her, I imagined that I had the whole world. Am I crazy?!
AWWW! Too bad these dedicated men belong only in film huh? And if they do, they don't last forever. They're all just a dream. A lovely dream that is. So now, I will go store the lovely Jang Hyuk away so that I may have a wonderful dream tonight. I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE WONDERFUL DREAMS TONIGHT TOO!
